The Moral Value in Life of Pie

the moral value life of pie movie. Ok here we go

Life of PI is the film's narrative style is similar to the "Titanic". There is a scene when the interviewer asks to sources of the past events at issue in the world. With straightforward and casual, our main character of telling extraordinary experience when he had to wade through a lonely middle of the ocean with only accompanied by a tiger. Began to fear to successfully make friends.

 

SYNOPSIS

The film itself tells the story of a life journey of Pi Patel. When Pi lived in a small happy family with my father, mother, and brother Ravi. Pi's father was a Saxon materialist. Her mother even Hindus but in some aspects still influenced strongly by the father thought.

Different from his family, Pi is passionate about God and religion. Since childhood Pi so pleased with the story of Lord Krishna and Vishnu. At the moment a teenager Pi met a Christian pastor. Intrigued by the story of the crucifixion of Christ, Pi was converted to Christianity without leaving Hindu. Even so the time to know about Islam, Pi also interested about the universal teachings. Again, he converted to Islam without leaving Hindus and Christians.

But the story of Pi belief in God is tested when his family had to leave India because of the economic crisis at that time. HOTEL owned by his father forced him to sell. But the animals are kept in the hotel (which is also a zoo), it was decided to sell abroad because it is more expensive. As a result Pi family had to move from India to bring his animals with a ship owned by a Japanese company.

What power, the leading Canadian ship carrying Pi devastating storm to sink. Pi skoci survived by climbing along a broken leg Zebra, Hyena, orangutans, and Richard Parker. Richard Parker is a Bengal Tiger.

Since the entry into the food chain loop course Zebra and Orang Utan is eaten by carnivorous sort Hyena. Where this Hyena Richard Parker was eventually killed by the Tiger. And there lived Pi with a Bengali Tiger on the boat

Alone in the middle of the vast ocean along the ferocious tiger, does not make Pi slumped. He submitted himself to God.

 

"God, I give my self to You ... .." said Pi.

Pi got an amazing experience at sea with Richard Parker. Two beings are supposed to kill each other instead become a traveling companion for the situation. Sharing food, sharing the place, even sharing of loneliness and sadness.

Hurricane unforgiving make skoci carrying Pi and Richard Parker oscillate. They do not have anything else to eat. Body Pi and Richard Parker is getting weak, weak, helpless. They let go wherever the waves will bring skoci which they were traveling.

Not unexpectedly occupied skoci Pi stranded on a mysterious island. But this is where Pi find water to drink, and the food from plants. Likewise with Richard Parker.

At nightfall Pi began to feel the anomaly on the island they occupy. The water was clear that he was drinking raises fish carcasses very much. Pi more surprised when he found a human tooth in her flower trees occupy.

Feeling this island is strange, tommorow Pi invite Richard Parker to go while bringing lunch to taste.

Again Pi and Richard Parker had to go through a heavy travel in the vast ocean. Until they bring their food from a mysterious island was exhausted.

After bobbing in the ocean up to 227 days at the beach Pi to Mexico. His condition is really very thin and worn at the time. Pi bend over backwards to get on the beach. And so up the beach Pi was not strong anymore. Consciousness began to disappear. At that time he had seen Richard Parker walked away. Without turned toward Pi, without roaring to signify their separation. Pi was devastated to learn of Richard Parker went vanished.

"All of life is an act of letting go but what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye."

Pi is the fantastic story is told in an atheist novelist. Uncle Pi was the one who asked the novelist to come on Pi. Because according to his uncle, Pi had a story that would make the novelist believe in God.

But other than that fantastic story, Pi also tells another version of the story of survival in the ocean. No zebra, orangutan, Hyena, or tiger bengali. There was only the sailor (zebra), Ms. Pi (Orangutan), cunning cooks (Hyena) and Pi itself (tiger Bengali). Four people should kill each other and eat each other to survive in the ocean. Where Pi is the last person eventually survive.

Pi tells another version of it because the ship owners (Japanese), there is the testimony of Pi wants sensible to be accepted by the insurance Integration.

The novelist was confused. Which is the real story. Pi then invited novelist to choose, "So wich story do you prefer?"

"The one with the tiger. That's the better story "

"Thank you ... And so it goes with God"

"It's an amazing story," says novelist, smiling.

 

Most people judge the film on its side pluralism where Pi is the adherents of the three religions as well. But I prefer the movie is about a servant to his Lord submission form. When Pi lost family members who come down with the ship, and then he stuck together tiger, Pi is not necessarily to blame God. Instead, she committed herself to the will of God. He still will try as hard to see what God wants from what happened to him at that time. And that is what makes faith in God stronger Pi. Although there is always the difficult situations that often makes Pi almost desperate.

There is a saying of pi startling my heart, he left a mysterious island. I forget exactly but in outline like this:

At the moment we feel that God is no longer matter anymore to us, then that's when God actually reached out to help us.

God is always there however our conditions. HE always mebantu us with his grace. Only we are not yet fully understood it. Because HE always works in mysterious ways.
